West Ham United will welcome Liverpool to the London Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Arne Slot is overseeing a hugely exciting revolution in charge of Liverpool right now, but the same cannot be said for Julen Lopetegui at West Ham unfortunately.
The Premier League encounter at the London Stadium on Sunday evening will be a vitally important one for both sides.
Interestingly, Liverpool’s arch nemesis Darren England has been selected to lead the VAR duties for the clash.
It remains to be seen whether or not that has any bearing on the outcome of the game.
One thing’s for sure, Slot will be extremely concerned about the fact that one of his key men is set to miss the Hammers clash.
Liverpool star to miss West Ham game in monumental blow
The Reds need a win at our place this weekend in order to hammer home their dominance in the Premier League table.
Whilst we’re huge underdogs for the game, we definitely still have a puncher’s chance.

And Liverpool have been dealt a really big blow that nobody’s seems to be talking about.
Reds midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai will miss the Premier League clash at the London Stadium through suspension.
The 24-year-old has played a key role for Liverpool this season with two goals and three assists in 17 Premier League appearances (Transfermarkt).
The Hungary international has been hugely effective for Arne Slot’s side this season, both defensively and inside the final third.
Liverpool have real strength in depth in the middle of the park, so they will be able to bring in quality cover for Dominik Szoboszlai for the West Ham Premier League clash.
However, they will undoubtedly miss the 24-year-old’s energy and supreme quality when in possession of the football.
Hopefully Szoboszlai’s absence enables the Hammers to pull off what would be a memorable victory.
