If Leeds United gain promotion to the Premier League, they could try to take one of West Ham United’s most important players this summer.
Leeds have enjoyed a wonderful season so far, although a poor recent run of form has seen them drop down to second spot in the Championship table, level on points with third-placed Burnley.
Meanwhile, West Ham have experienced all sorts of problems, and Graham Potter now has a seriously tricky task on his hands if he’s to turn things around at the London Stadium.
There will be big change in East London this summer, with Potter looking to bring down the average age of the West Ham squad.

Many old heads will undoubtedly be shown the door.
However, the Hammers should be doing everything possible to keep one of them in particular at the club.
Leeds have made enquiry to sign West Ham’s Tomas Soucek
Tomas Soucek could be set for an exit from the London Stadium this summer, if one report is to be believed.
It has been claimed already that Tomas Soucek has been offered £120k-a-week to leave West Ham by an unnamed Premier League club, widely believed to be Everton.
And now Leeds have entered the race to sign the 30-year-old Hammers midfielder, according to a report from Claret and Hugh.
I really don’t think most fans realise how much we would miss the 6ft 4in midfielder if he left to join Leeds this summer.

Tomas Soucek is an absolute machine what with his energy, stamina and sheer determination to help his team at all times.
Tomas Soucek has done what no other current West Ham player has
The Czech Republic international is the definition of ‘clutch’.
He comes up with big goals time and time again for West Ham.
Soucek has scored 39 goals in 238 games for the Hammers, and eight of them have been match-winners (Transfermarkt).
That’s more than any other current West Ham player, and it proves just how important he is for us.
Losing Tomas Soucek to Leeds in the summer would be a big blow for West Ham – he is hugely undervalued by the majority of our fanbase.
Hopefully Potter is able to keep him at the London Stadium, because we need as many characters like Soucek as we can get.
