West Ham United travel to the Black Country to take on Wolves in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
The Premier League showdown with Wolves will be a vital one for West Ham.
Despite the fact that Graham Potter has made improvements already at the London Stadium, he desperately needs to start picking up results now.
West Ham is not a very happy camp right now, with numerous dissenting voices being heard around the London Stadium.
That’s why the Hammers are in urgent need of some victories.

We absolutely have to beat Wolves at Molineux if we are to have any chance of a late surge for the top 10.
Laughable announcement for Wolves vs West Ham Premier League clash
Stuart Attwell has been named as the referee for the clash at Molineux on Tuesday night, via the Premier League’s official website.
Attwell was on VAR duty for our clash with Chelsea in September.
West Ham should have been awarded a penalty in the first-half against Chelsea when Crysencio Summerville was hauled down inside the Blues’ penalty area.
However, Attwell didn’t budge when the decision went to VAR for their perusal.
It was a disgraceful decision – one that reeked of a man who was merely just supporting his colleague.
That’s why the entire PGMOL system needs to be ripped up as far as I’m concerned. The Premier League need to make a raft of external appointments compiled of referees who have no affiliation with one another.
Attwell’s performance during the return fixture with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge left a lot to be desired as well.
He was named as the referee for that game this time, and produced in a truly horrendous display.
The 42-year-old should have blown up for a foul in the build-up to Chelsea’s equaliser, but he completely ignored the fact that Jarrod Bowen was pushed to the ground.
Is it just me or do we seem to get these awful Premier League referee appointments week in, week out? Or is it that every club’s fans think the same?

In fairness, Attwell is certainly not flavour of the month with the Wolves fans either.
He bizarrely disallowed a Wolves goal during their clash with Bournemouth back in April, and he was on VAR when Man City beat Wolves 2-1 at Molineux earlier this season.
After the assistant referee ruled out John Stones’ injury time winner, Attwell reversed the situation after insisting that Bernardo Silva was not actually affecting the play.
West Ham points lost and gained due to VAR decisions
The Hammers fans often feel that we get decisions given against us.
However, it appears as though that’s very much not the case.
We are apparently the tied second best off out of all the teams in the Premier League when it comes to VAR decisions given in our favour.
| Team | VAR decisions given in favour |
| Newcastle | 11 |
| West Ham | 6 |
| Aston Villa | 6 |
| Fulham | 6 |
| Chelsea | 5 |
| Wolves | 5 |
| Bournemouth | 4 |
| Brentford | 4 |
Judging by that table above, we actually haven’t done too badly from VAR.
However, it’s all very subjective isn’t it.
For instance, those six decisions that we got in our favour may well have been the correct calls from the start.
And what’s to say that we haven’t had numerous decisions go against us that we in fact the wrong calls? The one away at Chelsea mentioned above certainly fits into that category.
One thing’s for sure, Stuart Attwell being in charge of the Wolves vs West Ham Premier League clash is bad news for us, but it’s not great for Vitor Pereira’s side either!
He has performed terribly during many of his refereeing and VAR duties for games involving the Hammers and Wolves.
