Kurt Zouma was pictured during his first ever training session with West Ham United yesterday.

And the snap’s made an absolute mockery of The Sun’s report claiming that the Frenchman’s arrival on big wages caused unrest in the Hammers dressing room.

Zouma joined the Hammers from Chelsea towards the end of the summer transfer window for just under £30 million (BBC).

The Sun claimed that the 26-year-old was handed a £125k-a-week, four-year deal. And it was suggested that the West Ham players were not happy with Zouma instantly becoming the highest paid player at the London Stadium.

Club insider ExWHUemployee refuted those claims, however, and suggested that the centre-back is in fact on nearer £100k-a-week.

Ex also insisted that Zouma’s wages had not caused an issue whatsoever.

The 26-year-old arriving at the London Stadium was a hugely exciting thing for the West Ham fans.

Basically, The Sun’s report was a cheap shot designed to rattle West Ham. David Moyes has us punching above our weight and the big boys don’t like it!
