John Terry is wildly unpopular among fans of West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur but maybe less so now in east London after a big admission about the relegation battle.
It is a straight shootout for Premier League survival between the Hammers and Spurs on the final day of the season.
West Ham must beat Leeds at the London Stadium and hope Tottenham lose at home to Everton.
There is no love lost between the Hammers and Spurs at the best of times, let alone with Premier League survival on the line.
Terry and his family want West Ham to relegate Spurs
Chelsea did West Ham a massive favour by beating Tottenham to take it to the last day.
Now one of their greatest ever players has delivered his verdict on who he wants to win the battle for survival.
We NEED David Moyes’ help again! 🙏 Tell us your prediction for Tottenham vs Everton…
Everton's impressive away record gives us hope! 🤞
John Terry has made a big admission, saying he and his family will be delighted if the Hammers relegate Tottenham.
Terry is unpopular among fans of both clubs.

The Premier League legend used to enjoy rubbing Chelsea’s success in the faces of West Ham and Tottenham fans.
Terry also walked out on the Hammers as a 14-year-old to join Chelsea, despite coming from a family of West Ham fans.
Now, though, he is backing his first club to beat Leeds on the final day and relegate Tottenham – who he thinks will lose to Everton – much to his and his family’s delight.
Terry predicts West Ham and Moyes will see Spurs drop
“Watching Spurs in the week, honestly they were terrible, I didn’t realise how bad they were,” Terry said on social media.
“I think most importantly for me, watching players shy away from wanting the ball, not wanting it, kind of pointing in the opposite direction, I didn’t like what I saw at all.
Pretend you’re Nuno – what changes are you making ahead of Leeds? 👀
If anyone says keep the back five, I'll be shocked 😂
“And also I think Everton are a really good side, so I’m going to go 3-1 Everton.
“And also I’m going to go 2-1 West Ham win at home for them, my family will be happy, the support will be great, I’m sure, at the London Stadium.
“But a massive, massive relegation fight at the bottom of the table. Spurs, that means you get relegated and there will be a few of us very, very happy.”
Terry had back and forth with West Ham fans throughout his career.

He would often goad West Ham about their lack of silverware by holding imaginary trophies aloft in the direction of the Hammers support.
Terry did the same to Spurs but will have done his reputation among Hammers fans the world of good with this take.
Terry once revealed his Hammers fanatic dad “absolutely kicked off” when he left West Ham to sign for Chelsea.
And the ex England defender even remembers scoring for Chelsea against West Ham and spotting his dad and uncle in the crowd both “screaming abuse” at him.
Let’s hope the Terry family are all celebrating when the sun sets on this season come Sunday evening.
