West Ham centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo has just shown club captain Jarrod Bowen exactly how it’s done.
Jarrod Bowen was named the new West Ham club captain back in the summer, and in fairness to him, he has slowly grown into that role.
It was a tough job for Bowen immediately, with nine new players arriving at the London Stadium in the summer, Jean-Clair Todibo included.
The Frenchman has taken time to settle into life with the Hammers, but we are now starting to see the best of him.
It must be said though, the fact that Jean-Clair Todibo seems to be incapable of playing a full 90 minutes for West Ham is a big concern.

That said, the pros far outweigh the cons with the 25-year-old right now.
He’s clearly a very good leader as well.
Jean-Clair Todibo sends message to West Ham fans
The defender will be joining the Hammers on a permanent deal from Nice in the summer.
And the hope is that he continues to go from strength to strength for West Ham.
He is clearly a top-class player on his day, and he will be crucial for Graham Potter going forward, what with his ability to play the ball out from the back.
And Todibo made it very clear that the performance and result against Bournemouth was simply not good enough, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“Overall, I would say I’m disappointed,” the 25-year-old said. “We did well, but at this level, small details are important, and I think it’s because of that that we’ve drawn today.

“I think we could have done better with both of the goals. We have to be better in these types of actions, with these small details.“
Todibo’s message was in vast contrast to Jarrod Bowen’s comments
The Frenchman proved that he has a real winning mentality with those comments.
Meanwhile, Bowen displayed the complete opposite with his remarks after the 2-2 draw with the Cherries.
The 28-year-old Hammers ace told Carlton Cole that it was a good point against a very good side (West Ham’s X account).
It concerned me when I heard our skipper accept a draw at home against a mid-table side so flippantly.
Jarrow Bowen should take inspiration from West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen.
