Captain Jarrod Bowen, striker Valentin ‘Taty’ Castellanos and two other key stars are now surely joining Tomas Soucek in staying at West Ham in the Championship after a major hint.

Last month Hammers News reported that West Ham believe six fundamental players will be staying after talks with new majority owner Daniel Kretinsky.

The outcome of Kretinsky meeting those key West Ham stars was hugely encouraging.

“Key players are waiting for us,” Kretinsky told The Times in a rare and brief interview.

“They want to see there is a real chance of keeping the squad together.

“What matters is funding, strategy and consistency. We have spoken to all of them. They need to see that our project is real and serious. Promotion is our only goal.”

It's certainly bold…

We reported that captain Jarrod Bowen, vice-captain Tomas Soucek, centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos, left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf, fan favourite striker Valentin ‘Taty’ Castellanos and goalkeeper Mads Hermansen were all willing to remain at the London Stadium despite relegation to the second tier.

Young powerhouse midfielder Soungoutou Magassa, who could be a frightening prospect in the Championship, had also committed his future to West Ham in a post on social media amid links with a move away.

Now Bowen, Taty, Magassa and Hermansen have surely joined Soucek in confirming they are staying at West Ham after a major hint.

Ahead of the launch of the club’s new kit, Hammers News reported the West Ham kit tease would feature Bowen – which would essentially confirm he is to remain with the club.

That was after Soucek announced he is staying at West Ham in an emotional statement on Tuesday.

Hammers stars join Soucek in committing to staying?

Much to the delight of West Ham fans, skipper Bowen was indeed front and centre of the club’s New Balance kit reveal, a very deliberate suggestion from the Hammers that the winger will be staying – as consistently reported by Hammers News and other outlets.

But Bowen was not alone.

Striker Taty Castellanos, goalkeeper Hermansen and Magassa are also heavily featured alongside Soucek, Freddie Potts and Ezra Mayers.

That tallies with Kretinsky’s claims that the clutch of top players will be staying following productive meetings with him in which they were convinced of the club’s ambition.

Taty, Hermansen, Soucek, Magassa, Potts, Mayers and Kyle Walker-Peters also feature prominently.
