West Ham United manager David Moyes continues to be linked with the vacant managerial role at Celtic.
Rice and Lingard’s Champions League reaction but it’s advantage Chelsea
Speculation has been rife that Celtic have ‘sounded out’ Moyes as their replacement for Neil Lennon this summer.
It comes as Moyes leads West Ham to what promises to be their best season for 35 years. It is quite the contrast to the campaign Celtic have endured despite having the carrot of 10 consecutive league titles to aim for.

Moyes to Celtic speculation continues
Moyes has triggered an extension to his West Ham contract but is yet to sign a longer term deal that is said to be in the offing.
And Moyes’s old club Celtic have become the elephant in the room following Lennon’s departure.
GiveMeSport recently published an exclusive claiming Celtic have approached West Ham for their former centre back.
The Hammers boss has been described as ‘the natural fit’ to rebuild the Glaswegian giants (Daily Record).
West Ham legend and boyhood Hoops fan Trevor Sinclair has even been talking up Moyes for the Celtic job (talkSPORT).
And yesterday the Moyes to Celtic links continued on numerous Hoops websites and Scottish papers as Kevin Phillips told Football Insider that the Scot may decide to leave West Ham if owners David Sullivan and David Gold do not give him a decent transfer kitty in the summer (Football Insider).

Moyes to Celtic and Lampard to West Ham – ExWHUemployee delivers his verdict
Last week reliable West Ham insider ExWHUemployee admitted Moyes could be ‘tempted’ by Celtic but told The West Ham Way podcast he expected him to stay in east London.
The recent speculation prompted fans to ponder who GSB might replace Moyes with should be leave West Ham.
And one name put to ExWHUemployee was former Hammers hero turned villain Frank Lampard.
The West Ham academy graduate is out of work after being sacked by Chelsea. He too has been linked with the Celtic job (Football London).
Speaking on the latest West Ham Way podcast, ExWHUemployee discussed whether West Ham’s owners would appoint Lampard.

Insider discusses whether GSB would appoint Lampard should Moyes leave
“I don’t think they’d go for Lampard,” ExWHUemployee told TWHW podcast.
“I think he has potential to be a good manager – probably is a good manager – I think he got a bit of a raw deal at Chelsea although they do seem to have improved since he left.
“He should stay away from West Ham at this point because he’s not established himself enough to be worth the gamble of really upsetting some of the fans.
“If we knew he was going to come here and do a great job, then it would be worth doing. But if there’s question marks over him, which there are, then it’s only going to be a negative appointment to start with. The fans are going to be against him from the start. Whereas if he had a bit of a career where you can say ‘well look he’s actually won this, he’s won that, he’s a good manager, we need to let it go’.
“But he hasn’t got that has he? He was at Derby, failed to get them promoted. Then he was at Chelsea, did alright for Chelsea I thought. But then he got sacked so it’s not like he’s had a glowing career as a manager.
“So I think immediately West Ham fans would be negative towards him. And then if he got off to a bad start, it would be quite hard for him to turn that around.”
