West Ham United fans are loving life right now and so are the ex players.
Three wins in a week – away at Man United in the Carabao Cup, then Leeds in the Premier League and a 2-0 victory over Rapid Wien in the Europa League last night – have West Ham fans on cloud nine.
West Ham are sitting pretty at the top of Europa League Group H thanks to goals from Declan Rice and Said Benrahma.

But Noble himself was off enjoying one of the funniest TV interviews West Ham fans will see all season.
BT Sport have the rights to cover UEFA competitions – although that is set to change imminently – and former West Ham stars Joe Cole and namesake Carlton Cole are fronting the coverage of their old club’s matches.

After the match, Noble was asked what it would mean to him to sign off with the club’s biggest triumph since 1965.
And the exchange between the West Ham skipper and his two former teammates Joe and Carlton was brilliant.
Carlton suggested the stand would be named after Noble if that happened.

“You’d get a stand geeze, this will be the Mark Noble stand here,” Carlton said on BT Sport.
“I thought they was gonna give it to you geeze to be honest,” Noble responded.
Enter Joe Cole.
“He’s got a fire exit around the back,” the former West Ham playmaker added, sparking fits of laughter.

What a time to be a West Ham fan.
