David Moyes has suggested that Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa was spot on with his recent assessment of West Ham United duo Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek, as quoted by Football.London.
Rice and Soucek have been absolutely brilliant for the Hammers this season.
The wonderful partnership that the 22-year-old and 26-year-old have forged at the London Stadium has been pivotal to West Ham’s success for far this term.
And it seems as though the duo’s brilliant form has not gone unnoticed outside of West Ham.
Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa suggested in his press conference yesterday that Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek have been vitally important for the Hammers this season.
David Moyes says Marcelo Bielsa got West Ham observation bang on
The England and Czech Republic internationals are absolute warriors. They both play every single minute of every game. God knows where we would be without them.
David Moyes spoke to reporters this afternoon and suggested that Bielsa was bang on with his Rice and Soucek verdict, as quoted by Football.London:
“Bielsa is an incredible coach and has shown that throughout his career. He is right that the consistency with Rice and Soucek has helped us.”
If West Ham are to beat Leeds on Monday night, Rice and Soucek will both have to be at their brilliant best.
The Whites are no pushovers. The Hammers have more than enough to hurt them, however.
We proved that during the reverse fixture at Elland Road back in December.
Hopefully Rice and Soucek will be buzzing after hearing Bielsa’s praise. We need them to be on it on Monday night. Such is their quality and consistency, it would be a huge surprise if they weren’t at their best.
