West Ham have been raising eyebrows across football with their transfer dealings this summer and Henry Winter has been hugely impressed.
Julen Lopetegui has made it clear he means business at West Ham United, saying he wants to ‘make a big noise’.
Together he and Hammers technical director Tim Steidten have been doing some mean business too.
West Ham have signed an intriguing mix and blend of exciting young stars and experienced players who are ready to go.
Brazilian teen sensation Luis Guilherme and young flying Dutchman Crysencio Summerville have bolstered the West Ham attack for years to come.
They add to an already potent mix of Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen with Lucas Paqueta pulling the strings.
Added to that has been powerful and experienced Germany striker Niclas Fullkrug.
Max Kilman is the new starting centre-back and Guido Rodriguez will be unveiled imminently to strengthen the midfield.
West Ham are not done yet either.
Talks continue to add Aaron Wan-Bissaka while another new centre-back is wanted too.
Many rival fans, journalists and pundits have noted the club’s eye-catching business so far.
And one has been particularly impressed.

Henry Winter is absolutely blown away by West Ham’s transfer window business.
Winter says the future is looking bright for West Ham with the additions to an already promising side.
He feels the club has signed a couple of players who are captain material too.
“West Ham United doing some good business in the window: Kilman, Summerville and now Fullkrug,” Winter said.
“Plus potential of Luis Guilherme and linked with Guido Rodriguez/Wan-Bissaka.
“Plus home-grown and hungry: West Ham also have the promise of 2023 FA Youth Cup winners like George Earthy.
“Couple of captains in there too.”
Winter is not the only one impressed by the work of West Ham in the transfer market.
Stan Collymore has even been converted into a Lopeptegui believer.
Previously Collymore said West Ham made a mistake appointing Lopetegui.
But he feels Lopetegui is pulling together an impressive side after a solid window of business.
“I remember saying that when Julen Lopetegui signed Max Kilman, that’s the manager getting his own way, getting his feet under the table and being placated,” Collymore told CaughtOffside.
“Fans perhaps don’t understand how long it takes to get a deal over the line. It’s all ‘get it done, get it done’ but it’s never as simple as that. Transfers have got to be done at the right time and for the right price as well…
“So, Fullkrug, Wan-Bissaka, Kilman and Crysencio Summerville… I think that’s good, solid business from West Ham in this window.”
After concerns were raised during a month-long barren spell in the window, West Ham fans have been revelling in the surge of business.
Of course the proof of the pudding, as they say, will be in the eating for the Hammers.
With two or three final additions, it will be up to Lopetegui to knit the players together to form a quality team.
And on the evidence of pre-season he certainly has his work cut out on that front.
