ExWHUemployee has claimed that Mipo Odubeko is very highly rated at West Ham and suggested that the young striker could be involved in the squad for Monday’s FA Cup clash with Stockport County.

In other news…‘This really is great news’: Some West Ham fans buzzing after news emerges from the London Stadium

The Hammers have a real striker shortage following Sebastien Haller’s exit from the London Stadium.

Michail Antonio is now David Moyes’s only recognised centre-forward.

The 30-year-old attacker will surely not be risked against Stockport, however, given his recent problems with his hamstrings.

Many West Ham fans are desperate for Mipo Odubeko to be given a chance against the National League side.

The 18-year-old has only just returned from a lengthy spell on the sidelines, however.

It is highly unlikely that David Moyes will play the former Manchester United teenager from the start.

Mipo Odubeko West Ham’s next star?

ExWHUemployee suggested that he could be involved in the match-day squad on Monday, however:

Odubeko joined the Hammers in October 2019 when his contract expired with Man United.

He has been absolutely prolific for West Ham’s youth teams with 12 goals in nine games to his name (Transfermarkt).

It is clear to see that Mipo is an outstanding talent. Hopefully he will have a long and successful career at the London Stadium.

And judging by ExWHUemployee’s comments on the striker, he has a great chance of doing just that.

Monday’s FA Cup clash with Stockport County may just come too soon for him, however.
