Noussair Mazraoui is now closing in on a move to West Ham United in a hugely exciting update.
West Ham head coach Julen Lopetegui is clearly keen to bolster his right-back ranks, and sees the 26-year-old as the perfect upgrade on Vladimir Coufal.
It was a huge surprise when it emerged yesterday that Bayern Munich ace Mazraoui was a transfer target for the Hammers.
The Moroccan is an elite right-back, and he’s the kind of player we’ve been crying out for over the past couple of years.
The mere fact that we’re even being linked with the Bayern star is hard to believe, and is a big sign of how far we’ve come as a club.
Julen Lopetegui is clearly a very ambitious man, and is working in tandem with Tim Steidten to create an incredibly exciting team at the London Stadium.

The latest update on Mazraoui will undoubtedly have the Hammers fans dancing on the rooftops…
Fresh Noussair Mazraoui to West Ham update emerges
The 28-capped Morocco international was absolutely superb for Bayern last season.
In 19 Bundesliga appearances last term, he bagged three assists an averaged 1.7 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 1.2 clearances per game (Who Scored).
Mazraoui is absolutely rapid, is a tenacious tackler, and his enthusiasm and energy would be a major boost for the Hammers.
Now it seems like he could be East London bound, or America bound should I say…
According to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, the Bayern defender is now closing in on a mvoe to the Hammers.
How exciting is that!
Signing the 26-year-old for just £13.5 million plus £3 million in potential add-ons would represent unbelievably good value for West Ham.
The Bayern Munich right-back is an elite performer, and proved his quality during his side’s Champions League clashes with Arsenal and Real Madrid earlier this year.
Noussair Mazraoui would play a key role in taking West Ham to another level, if we do indeed sign him, and he’d be a major upgrade on Coufal.
Let’s hope that the Hammers wrap this deal up as soon as possible, and we see him join the boys out in Florida.
