Porto manager Sergio Conceicao has given a blunt response to the agent and sister of West Ham winger Felipe Anderson, after she demanded talks with the Portuguese club regarding his lack of playing time.

The 27-year-old joined the Primeira Liga outfit on a season-long loan from the Hammers last month.
He has endured a nightmare start to his Porto career, however.
Anderson has played just 49 minutes for the Portuguese outfit. He has been left on the bench in three out of six games and was completely omitted from the squad for last week’s Champions League clash against Marseille.
This led to the Brazilian’s sister and agent suggesting that she wants to hold talks with Porto regarding her brother’s lack of game-time, as quoted by the Record:
“Felipe was brought to Portugal by agents who are no longer part of his career. Only I, Juliana Gomes, can speak officially on his behalf. I will have a meeting with the club to inform them of this new panorama and also to try to understand if we can do something for Felipe to do as quickly as possible what he came to do in Portugal, which is to play his football and help Porto.”
But Porto boss Sergio Conceicao has delivered a blunt response to the agent of Felipe Anderson, as quoted by O Jogo:
“Nobody spoke to me, now what they say to the board. I am not going to ask the president what he said to Felipe Anderson’s sister. Why his sister says he needs a meeting I don’t know. If it’s about adapting Felipe, it’s me; I can talk, this is me. If the president wants to, he can talk to me about it, but it’s normal. There are some who adapt faster than others.”
The Brazilian clearly has a lot of work to do if he is going to impress the Porto manager. And the same can be said for him regarding West Ham boss David Moyes too.
Anderson needs to work hard, refocus and get his career back on track as soon as possible. He clearly has the talent, but if the 27-year-old is not prepared to put in the hard yards, he is destined for the footballing scrapheap.
