Every word David Moyes said as he raves about Holy Trinity after West Ham win over Man United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
It was a tale of two halves as West Ham beat Manchester United 2-0 at the London Stadium.
The Hammers moved up to sixth in the Premier League table – for a few hours at least – after goals from Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus condemned Man United to another defeat.
David Moyes was heavily criticised for resting a host of stars in the Carabao Cup thrashing at Liverpool in midweek.
But it was one of those stars, Lucas Paqueta, who showed renewed energy as he laid on another two assists in the second half of a man of the match performance for West Ham.
The Hammers boss will feel in many ways vindicated for his decision to make midweek changes.
And he reserved special praise for his talented forward trio while also revealing whether he would give his players Christmas off with the next game not until December 28th.

Every word Moyes said after West Ham win over Man United
Here’s every word Moyes said as he raves about Holy Trinity after West Ham’s win over Man United – as transcribed by cub reporter Evan Wallace.
“Great win for us today, we didn’t do brilliantly in the first half, but we done the job,” Moyes said after the game on TNT Sports.
“We are just off the back of a game two days ago and a big defeat, so it took us a wee bit of a while to get into the game but as the game went on, we got much better.
“We did (switch it up front second half), we made a change. Sometimes when you make the change it doesn’t work but we put Paqueta more like a number nine and just to come off (the forward line).

Boss raves about West Ham’s Holy Trinity
“I thought he held up the ball brilliantly well, a bit like an old-fashioned centre forward. And when he held things up it just allowed Jarrod (more freedom). We have been doing this late in games and he’s actually been getting a goal when we put him back wide and coming in late and getting a bit of room to score. And Kudus we dropped in just behind. They are really talented players. We can move them around which sometimes in games you can get wrong, but we got it right.
“It was a brilliant pass (from Paqueta for Bowen’s goal) and if you would have said to me at half-time I was disappointed, I didn’t think we played anything behind. I thought we played in front of Manchester united and we didn’t threaten them.
“But again, look so many games you just don’t really know, the players just aren’t there, but the second half we they did what we told them at half-time. He (Paqueta) is one that takes risks with the ball and sometimes I said to you before I could be pulling my hair out, he’s kicking balls behind with nobody there. But we think now that’s five assists in the last two games.

Will Hammers stars get Christmas off?
“I mean his pass was amazing and even then Jarrod to get the ball under control and it was tight between him and the goalkeeper. And you (Ally McCoist) will know better than anybody to get a goal it doesn’t matter how you get it if you bundle them in, put it through their legs but whatever you do it doesn’t matter.
“(On Jarrod) well at the start of the game he just looks – again because you’ve (McCoist) done it – I think when you get them you really feel as if you’re going to get a goal he knows where to go when to run. He’s been a bit quiet in the first half and didn’t offer enough so that was my thought on how do we get him a bit more and spike it up a little bit more.
“I shouldn’t have to really (defend myself re: the changes). If you look at the points we had this year I think we have won 31 games or something if you go calendar year we have won a trophy in the middle of it as well. West Ham are not going to win all our games. We are not that club, we’re not that team, we are not ready to do that. I think we can build towards it. I had 11 years at Everton, we built every year and we (West Ham) just lost the best player in England (Declan Rice) and that takes time to get back and do the job. But look we are in a lofty position and we are disappointed we went out in the week but if we would have been knocked out against Lincoln in first round I don’t know if people would have been talking quite as much about it.
“It’s not (doom and gloom). What would you have done as manager (about giving the players Christmas off). Well I am going to do that as well but the players deserve it (eating turkey). You know we had three games in six days this week. This one was an early kick off, we had to play 8pm at Anfield and we played against Wolves last Sunday, so three games in six days for the players and it’s been a big ask for them. But anyway look we got the result and we will take it. We managers we all want to win and we feel much better.
“There’ll be turkey yea, after training!”
