An eerie Arsenal warning to David Moyes over his West Ham squad management has resurfaced and rings true again almost exactly one year on.
Debate is raging in West Ham circles over David Moyes’ management – or rather mismanagement – of his squad this season.
Statistics show Moyes has run some key players into the ground this season and it has showed on the pitch at times.
The Hammers took a big step towards Premier League survival as a result of the draw between Leicester and Everton on Monay night.
West Ham are now on the brink of safety. But one win or even a draw will put the seal on that for certain.

Different year, same problem?
Ahead of the daunting trip to Manchester City, West Ham are not being given a prayer of a result.
It’s easy to see why after the dismal 4-3 defeat to Palace last time out and Man City’s relentless form.
That has sparked debate over what Moyes should do with his team selection for the match.
Many supporters feel the Scot should rest a host of key players at the Etihad and use his squad with huge matches against a more beatable Man United at home on Sunday followed by the massive European semi-final against AZ Alkmaar next Thursday night.
Moyes was criticised for failing to give his key players enough rest at the same time last year when West Ham faltered in that big Europa League semi-final clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.
There is a lot riding on the game for West Ham’s London rivals Arsenal.

Eerie post about David Moyes from almost exactly one year ago rings true again but will West Ham boss learn his lesson
Now an eerie Arsenal warning to Moyes over his West Ham squad management has resurfaced and rings true again almost exactly one year on.
West Ham fans have been retweeting a post from the popular Arsenal Twitter account Le Grove from May 5th last year.
And the warning rings eerily true once more for Moyes and West Ham.
Ironically this time around it is very much in Arsenal’s interests for West Ham to play their strongest possible side.
That’s after the Gunners reclaimed top spot from Man City last night. It means Man City must beat West Ham to climb back above Arsenal, although they will still have another game in hand.
“David Moyes, losing 1-0 away at Frankfurt, two shots on target, 35% possession, his team dead because he played all his first-team players in a nothing game against Arsenal?
“Can’t say we didn’t warn him.
“Unbelievable approach to squad management. It could have been so different.”
You can see the post below. Will Moyes learn his lesson? We’ll find out tonight.
