Mads Hermansen has racked up an impressive collection of clean sheets since ousting Alphonse Areola as West Ham United’s number one.
In fact, all six of the clean sheets secured in this season’s Premier League have come with Hermansen between the sticks. Hermansen actually sits alongside David Raya and Gigi Donnarumma when it comes to the goalkeepers with the best clean sheet percentage.
From a current West Ham United glovesman to a former goalkeeping prospect, Nathan Trott ended a superb 2025/26 campaign with 16 shut-outs of his own.

Has he won you over? Or are there still doubts?
Not enough to secure the Cardiff City giant League One’s Golden Glove award.
But, an integral part of a Bluebirds side hurtling back to the Championship following a 91-point haul and a second-place finish, Cardiff are understandably determined to tie Trott down ahead of their return to the second-tier.
Former West Ham United starlet Nathan Trott helps Cardiff City to promotion

Trott made a ‘sensational start’ to life in South Wales after arriving on loan from Copenhagen last summer.
His superb reflexes have come in extremely handy, while the 27-year-old’s extreme self-confidence with the ball at his feet made him hugely important to Brian Barry-Murphy’s possession-based gameplan.
“I think he’s done great over the course of the season and we’re very grateful to have him,” former Manchester City youth coach Barry-Murphy told BBC Sport of Trott.
“Like with the other players, there’s so many different moving parts to these things. Speculation is a waste of time.
“If something happens, then it happens and if not, it’s all good.”
Trott could be playing Championship football next season
According to Danish publication Tipsbladet, Cardiff can turn Trott’s loan into a permanent transfer for a bargain £1 million. A former England Under-20 international who spent eight years at West Ham between 2016 and 2024, Trott is understood to be keeping all his options open, however.
A return to Copenhagen is also not out of the question.

Trott won the Danish league and cup double in the capital last season. Including his promotion at Velje Boldklub in 2023, Trott has either won the league or secured promotion in three of the last four seasons.
“Cardiff have got a really good player on their hands,” fellow Bermudan Nahki Wells told the Royal Gazette after Trott’s Man of the Match display in a 1-0 win over Wells’ Luton side. “I think with him in their side, he makes them a lot stronger.
“It was one of those days where it just felt like no one was ever going to score through him. He made some of the best saves I’ve ever witnessed on a football pitch and just looks so confident in goal, so I have to give credit where credit is due.”
