Under-fire owner David Sullivan and vice-chair Karren Brady are facing a major new threat at West Ham following a stark warning.

The latest development has piled fresh pressure on the club’s hierarchy and could have huge implications for West Ham’s future.

West Ham are set for their biggest week of the last decade, with significant developments expected on and off the pitch.

After the 3-0 defeat to Spurs, Graham Potter is clinging on to his job as Hammers boss.

Potter is facing a must-win game at home against a Crystal Palace side now on a record 11-game unbeaten run after their Carabao Cup victory over Millwall.

A number of managers are being linked with the West Ham job including Nuno Espirito Santo and Kieran McKenna.

But the big news of the week at West Ham promises to be off the pitch.

West Ham’s Fan Advisory Board sent shockwaves through the corridors of power at West Ham with a vote of no confidence in the owners two weeks ago.

Watershed moment looms after West Ham meeting

Hammers owners David Sullivan, Daniel Kretinsky and co sent vice-chair Karren Brady to meet with fed-up supporters ahead of the Spurs game.

West Ham fans say their demands and expectations were put to Brady in a forthright and professional manner.

It is rumoured Brady offered to resign in the meeting.

Feedback from Hammers supporters is that West Ham’s board are taking the situation very seriously.

Just how seriously will become clear this week.

Details of the meeting cannot be revealed until the minutes are agreed and signed off by both parties.

That is expected within the next 24-72 hours as West Ham fans prepare to underline their discontent with a protest before the Palace clash.

Many feel the actions taken or promised by the club after the fan meeting will be the first steps towards supporters getting what they want.

Hammers News has been told big changes could be coming across the club.

Supporters are demanding the removal of majority owner David Sullivan and Brady from the day-to-day running of West Ham United or from the club as a whole.

The ultimate aim is for Sullivan, Kretinsky, the Gold family and other board members complicit in West Ham’s demise and failure to deliver on promises made about the move to the London Stadium and the club’s ambitions since to sell up and leave.

That would be a long process with club sales taking months, sometimes years, to complete.

In the meantime West Ham fans want ‘proper professionals’ in charge of the running of their beloved club.

A watershed moment could be in the offing and it remains to be seen what actions are promised by West Ham’s board as a result of the meeting with Brady.

But if the owners think this latest uprising can be brushed off with a resurgence on the pitch and piecemeal change off it, then they have another thing coming.

Hammers United, the major West Ham fan group organising Saturday’s protest before the Palace game, have released a new statement telling Sullivan and Brady this is just the start.

Because plans are already afoot for the biggest protest march yet against West Ham’s owners.

Hammers United want the Palace protest, which is under the tagline ‘No More BS’ using Brady and Sullivan’s initials, to be the first step towards a bigger demonstration than ever before.

And Sullivan and Brady have been warned this will be a sustained season-long campaign of protests which will be vigorous, but within the law.

Fan group warn Hammers owners this is just the start

“We must build towards a bigger demonstration than ever before, whether this be in the form of a mass rally or a march remains to be seen, but first we must mobilise support and build momentum,” Hammers United said in a statement.

“As a first step we will line the route along Marshgate Lane from Pudding Mill Lane station up to the Directors’ entrance to the London Stadium before the Crystal Palace match, and are meeting the Police to make arrangements accordingly.

“This will be the start of a sustained season long campaign and a series of protests which must be vigorous, but within the law.

“The club would no doubt love to point to us as a bunch of aggressive hooligans and we cannot let that happen.

“One remembers The Greenway stroll attracting an independently verified 8,750 West Ham supporters, including many children in a carnival atmosphere, with no arrests at all. We need more of the same!

“It is great that to see the Claret and Blue Army coming together supporting the NO MORE BS! campaign and also it is fantastic that the mainstream media are now supportive with more pressure being brought to bear on the Directors each day.

“We must show the world that Brady and Sullivan’s positions are untenable and that they must step aside for the good of the club.

“I urge all fellow Hammers to join us at Marshgate Lane this coming Saturday from 12.45pm. Remember those who came before us, and those we travelled with to watch the Hammers who are no longer with us. What would they say if we did nothing?

Supporters plan biggest demonstration yet to force owners out

“Some say that Brady has destroyed our fanbase. Let’s prove them wrong.

“Let’s show the world that the best fanbase in the world is gathering its strength, mobilising for a momentous effort and that the old Chicken Run and Northbank spirit is still alive.

“Let’s show the world that, as we used to sing ’The West Ham-United-will never be defeated.’ Saturday September 20th 2025 is the day we rekindle the fires of the legendary support that our club is renowned for across the world.

“We note that many who have walked away will be returning to protest that day and it will be great to see them again.

“We will line the route along Marshgate Lane to the Directors Entrance at London Stadium from 12.45pm until 2.15pm on Saturday September 20th.

“We will engage with the Press as they pass by, Let board members know our feelings (peacefully) as they pass by and most important of all give our team coach a massive cheer.

“One notes the last major protest was before our team’s only win in eleven games so perhaps our love for the club will shine through and inspire them again!

“All of us love West Ham and the vast majority of us want Brady and Sullivan to stand aside but the big question to you all is will you stand up and fight for West Ham’s very heart and soul or will you stand by and do nothing?

“Saturday September 20th 2025 is the day that we, the voice and heartbeat of West Ham, its loyal and long suffering support, start on the long journey to get our club back.

“Fellow Hammers, join us in the fight. Bring your flags, bring your friends, bring your kids. Long Live West Ham!”
