The Premier League clash is a vitally important one for both sides, but for very different reasons.

West Ham have a real relegation battle on our hands whilst Tottenham are pushing for a Champions League spot.

Nothing less than a good performance and a positive result will do for the Hammers.

It seems as though we will have to do that without some of our best players though…

David Moyes shares grim injury update

The Scot addressee the media at Rush Green this afternoon.

And Moyes responded when asked for an injury update, as quoted by Football.London:

“Lucas Paqueta is not going to be available. Nayef has got a chance but we’re not sure yet if he’s going to make it. Scamacca is back but is nowhere near ready. I might get him some minutes, but a minimum. We’re hoping to have him (Cornet) back next Monday, whether that’s training I don’t know.”

That’s about as grim as it gets isn’t it.

We will probably have none of our four most expensive summer signings available to take on our biggest Premier League rivals this weekend.

There’s no denying it, West Ham have had terrible luck with injuries this season, and it’s something that needs to be looked as closely in the off-season in my opinion.

Either we need to buy more physically robust players or our training methods and facilities have to change and be upgraded.

The David Moyes injury update was yet another depressing one for the the Hammers fans. Let’s just hope that he’s holding his cards close to his chest, and Aguerd and Scamacca are ready to play at the very least.
