The Czech duo have proven to be magnificent signings for the Hammers since moving to the London Stadium.
West Ham signed Soucek from Slavia Prague in the summer of 2020 for around £13.5 million (The Guardian). The 25-year-old had spent the previous six months on loan with the Hammers.

Meanwhile, Coufal joined West Ham in October for around £5.4 million (BBC).
David Moyes raves about West Ham duo Soucek and Coufal
Both players have improved the Hammers drastically.
And David Moyes has labelled the Czech Republic internationals as ‘unbelievable’, as quoted by the Mirror:

“Bringing character into the football club isn’t always that easy. Soucek and Coufal have been unbelievable. Every character adds something to the dressing-room and lifts it and they have been great characters.”
Soucek has been a revelation since joining West Ham. The 25-year-old has 11 goals in 40 games for the East London outfit to his name (Transfermarkt).
Coufal, meanwhile, has really impressed at right-back. His tenacious tackling, aggressive man-marking and 100 per cent commitment has immediately endeared himself to the Hammers fans.
Let’s hope that Soucek and Coufal remain at the London Stadium for at least another five years or so. If they do just that, they will undoubtedly go on to become West Ham legends.
