Daniel Kretinsky’s supposed West Ham masterplan has been leaked by several sources and it includes a £90m cash injection, buying out the Sullivan family and owning the London Stadium.

They may be in the Championship next season but West Ham are dominating the big football headlines so far this summer and now the spotlight falls on Daniel Kretinsky.

The single biggest announcement of the last 16 years saw David Sullivan resign from the West Ham board on Saturday.

Sullivan confirmed the door is closed on a West Ham return in the future.

It is all change at the top with the club also clarifying Sullivan has stepped down with immediate effect and has also resigned as a director of both WH Holding Limited and West Ham United Football Club.

That casts secretive, mega-rich Czech billionaire Kretinsky into the West Ham spotlight.

How do you feel NOW about a full Daniel Kretinsky takeover? 💰

Sullivan out at all costs? Or has the Czech ship sailed?

Long seen as the club’s potential saviour, Kretinsky has been complicit in West Ham’s demise in the last three years, by default if nothing else.

He arrived at the club in November 2021 when the Hammers were on the up after finishing sixth and were flying in the Europa League.

Now he is the man fans are looking towards to rebuild West Ham from top to bottom.

And it seems there is very good news on that front.

Because Kretinsky’s exciting West Ham masterplan has been leaked by various sources and includes a big London Stadium aim.

Sources on longstanding West Ham website KUMB reported months ago that Sullivan would depart and Kretinsky could take full control this summer.

The site’s sources also reported that Karren Brady would be stepping down.

So supporters will be hugely encouraged by new claims, some of which have also been corroborated by the likes of The Telegraph and The Guardian.

It is claimed that Kretinsky’s masterplan will see him inject the necessary £90m needed to balance the club’s books by the end of June.

Kretinsky will press ahead with his plan to buy more shares from the Gold Family and – after years of rumours that he intends to – the Czech Sphinx will look to purchase the London Stadium and land later in the year, around September.

One of the biggest factors of the Kretinsky masterplan, though – which has also been reported by The Telegraph – is that he is not happy Sullivan’s sons Dave and Jack will have influence on the board.

So he fully intends to buy the Sullivan family out of West Ham altogether.

Kretinsky is said to be ‘keen’ to buy out the Sullivans as he does not like the idea of Jack and Dave replacing their dad.

If the claims do prove to be accurate then this is monumental news for West Ham United.

And it could well be the dawn of a new era for the football club at the perfect time.

There have been doubts over Kretinsky’s appetite for a full takeover and his ambition.

Particularly as he appeared to sit by, doing and saying little as West Ham were relegated.

Kretinsky also angered Hammers fans by breaking his silence to praise Brady over the London Stadium move and the sale of Declan Rice when she suddenly left the club recently.

That suggested he is not as in tune with Hammers fans as some might believe.

But if he does plan to buy the stadium and – at some point in the future – alter it to finally make it fit for football, then praising the move to Stratford makes perfect sense.

He certainly has the money as Kretinsky was named the 24th wealthiest person on the 2026 Sunday Times Rich List.

There could be exciting times ahead for the Hammers it seems.
