West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen has long been admired in the corridors of power at Liverpool having been a big favourite of former boss Jurgen Klopp.

With Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool future still up in the air, links to the next best thing are inevitable.

Jarrod Bowen has been absolutely immense for West Ham ever since signing for a bargain £20.5m in 2020.

Jurgen Klopp spoke in glowing terms on several occasions about Bowen.

Klopp even named West Ham skipper Bowen as his favourite non-Liverpool player earlier this year.

Speculation that Liverpool are plotting a big money move for Bowen have persisted into the Arne Slot tenure.

The likes of Tim Sherwood and Danny Murphy have touted Hammers talisman Bowen for a move to Anfield in the last week alone.

West Ham supporters had been unaffected by the fresh Liverpool links to their star man since Bowen signed a new seven-year deal last October and pledged he wanted to retire at the London Stadium.

But rumours about release clauses and West Ham’s need to raise funds due to reaching their PSR limit have sewn seeds of doubt in the minds of some.

Newcastle were also linked with a mega money bid in the summer.

Although concerns Bowen could leave seemed to be allayed when Bowen proposed to girlfriend Dani Dyer – daughter of West Ham fanatic Danny Dyer – on their summer holidays.

The couple then purchased a £3m mansion near West Ham’s training ground.

The engaged couple set themselves up for the future with the purchase of the beautiful mansion near to Rush Green.

The luxurious seven-bed home is situated in Emerson Park and boasts a high-specification finish including a swimming pool and gated driveway.

But were they setting down roots for life or is there still a chance Bowen could be tempted away by Liverpool?

Dyer breaks silence on leaving Essex ‘for Jarrod Bowen reasons’

Now Dyer has broken her silence on leaving Essex ‘for Jarrod Bowen reasons’ amid the West Ham star’s Liverpool links.

In a question and answer session on social media, reality TV star Dyer was asked whether she would ever move from Essex.

Dyer admitted she may one day have to ‘move for Bowen reasons’ but emphatically insists that won’t be anytime soon.

“Ideally I’d love to live in Essex forever as I just like knowing where everything is and my friends and family etc,” Dyer said on Instagram.

“However if I had to move for Jarrod reasons then of course but that’s not happening anytime soon.”

That will come as a huge relief to West Ham fans and bitter blow to Liverpool.

Especially if they do have to replace Salah in the summer.

Obviously every player has his price, though.

And if Liverpool came along with the right money then, as was the case with Declan Rice and countless others before him, West Ham may be tempted to sell.

There’s certainly no desire to leave in the Bowen and Dyer household, though.

But for the avoidance of doubt, after signing his new deal until 2030 last term, Bowen made it clear he wants to see out his playing days at West Ham.

“This means everything to me,” Bowen said when signing his new Hammers deal.

“When I was a little boy, I just wanted to play football at the highest level, and this club gave me the opportunity when no one else wanted to.

“Without this club, I wouldn’t have played for my country and I wouldn’t have scored the winning goal in a European final. So I think it’s only fair that I repay that faith.

“I want to stay here and I want to stay here for the rest of my career. This is a sign of that. It’s been a long time and there’s been a lot of talk, but it’s finally over the line and to get it done before I go away (with England) is so special.”
