West Ham United take on Dagenham and Redbridge in our second pre-season friendly of the summer today, and Julen Lopetegui has named his starting lineup.
The Hammers kicked off our pre-season campaign with a 2-2 draw against Ferencvaros on Monday.
Julen Lopetegui will be hoping to see more intensity from his West Ham players this afternoon though.
It wasn’t a horrendous performance five days ago, but it wasn’t great either, and here’s how we rated the players.
Not all of our big name internationals are back from international duty just yet, but Lopetegui has still gone with a very strong starting lineup.
That said, there are a lot of exciting young talents on display at the Chigwell Construction Stadium this afternoon as well.

Things were a little slow and sluggish out in Austria against Ferencvaros on Monday afternoon – understandably slow.
The first pre-season game of every single summer always seems to be that way.
Lopetegui’s men will hopefully ramp things up this afternoon during the local derby against the Daggers.
Here’s how Lopetegui has set up for this afternoon’s clash:
Lukasz Fabianski, Emerson Palmieri, Kurt Zouma, Kaelen Casey, Freddie Potts, Lewis Orford, James Ward-Prowse, Maxwel Cornet, Luis Guilherme, Callum Marshall
The fact that Marshall is starting ahead of Danny Ings, or even Mohammed Kudus through the middle is a big shock. Let’s hope the Northern Irishman really lays down a marker today, and proves his quality to Lopetegui.
I’m hoping to see a strong performance this afternoon from the boys, with big improvements required from the likes of James Ward-Prowse, Luis Guilhereme and Mavropanos if he plays in the second-half.
It’s an exciting starting lineup that’s been named from West Ham head coach Lopetegui, and I’m looking forward to seeing the young players like Marshall, Potts and Orford in action.
Ollie Scarles is on the bench, and I’m hoping to see the talented teenager play a part during the second-half.
