Big Slaven Bilic twist makes Europa Conference League win even sweeter for West Ham boss David Moyes.
According to a report from the Guardian, David Moyes would have been replaced by Slaven Bilic, had West Ham lost to Fulham at Craven Cottage back in April.
The Hammers won the Europa Conference League out in Prague last night – our first major trophy in 43 years.

According to the Guardian, former Hammers manager Bilic was primed to step in and take over from Moyes had we lost to Fulham two months ago.
What a difference a couple of months make eh!
Huge credit must be given to the West Ham board for sticking with the Scot. I’ll hold my hands up, I was desperate for Moyes to be given his marching orders long before April.

However, had that happened, there’s a good chance that we wouldn’t have lifted the Conference League trophy out in Prague.
Sometimes, patience is the best policy, and the Hammers owners have been rewarded with their loyalty.
Our 43-year wait for a trophy is finally over, and we have David Moyes to thank for that. The owners deserve a big pat on the back as well.
West Ham lifting the trophy last night will go down in the history books, but it might not have been possible had we lost to Fulham back in April.
