Danny Dyer has confirmed the best news West Ham have had in years after making a major reveal about the club’s captain – and his son-in-law – Jarrod Bowen.
There has been inevitable incessant speculation over the future of Jarrod Bowen following West Ham’s relegation from the Premier League.
Hammers News has consistently reported since the Hammers dropped into the Championship that Bowen has told the club he wants to stay.
With new majority owner Daniel Kretinsky going on record to state West Ham do not need to sell players for financial reasons, it all pointed to skipper Bowen continuing his legacy in east London.
Danny Dyer says Jarrod Bowen is staying at West Ham
However, with the way modern football works, nothing is ever a sure thing and supporters have been understandably wary of getting too excited about Bowen staying.
Especially with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, Newcastle and Aston Villa all being linked with the West Ham talisman.
How do you think Tuchel is feeling about omitting Jarrod Bowen NOW?
England were dreadful vs Ghana… 🏴 🇬🇭
The feeling is that keeping Bowen will be as close to a guarantee of promotion back to the big time as the Hammers can get.
The England winger will comfortably be the best player in the Championship and, if he stays fit and healthy, should easily pass the 30-goal mark.

Well one man who knows Bowen more intimately than most says he will do just that.
In the best West Ham news for years, Danny Dyer has shared a major Bowen reveal.
The Hammers fanatic actor is the father of Bowen’s wife, TV personality Dani Dyer.
So he speaks with great authority when revealing that Bowen – as Hammers News has reported all along – is staying at West Ham United.
Dyer: Bowen staying to rip up the Championship with West Ham
Speaking to talkSPORT reporter – and fellow West Ham fan – Ian Abrahams, Dyer said Bowen deserves Champions League football but will be staying at the club to ‘rip up the Championship’.
“Well, look, he’s a very great, loyal man,” Dyer told Abrahams.
How would you feel if Kretinsky brought Disasi BACK to West Ham? 🇫🇷
A Chelsea source thinks the return is possible…
“And first and foremost, he is my family, the father of my grandchildren, of course. And, you know, it’s been tough for him. I mean, he does deserve Champions League football.
“And whatever decision he made, makes or made, I would have supported him, do you know what I mean?

“But, I don’t think he’s going anywhere, son. And I think he will rip up the Championship, don’t you worry yourself about that.”
Dyer also said he has struggled to get into England’s World Cup adventure due to what he feels is an injustice in Bowen being left out by Thomas Tuchel, a decision he described as a shock for the entire family.
Especially as he believes the Hammers captain would have done a better job than the widely criticised Noni Madueke, who contributed just four goals and assists for champions Arsenal last season compared to Bowen’s 20 goals and assists in a relegated West Ham side.
This is by far and away the best news West Ham have had for years.
It should mean Nuno Espirito Santo’s side canter to the Championship title.
Especially with goalscoring midfield machine Tomas Soucek also staying and Taty Castellanos believed to be remaining too.
