In fact, it is claimed that the Blues are ‘preparing an offer’ for the 20-year-old French striker.

L’Equipe reckon that the rapid young attacker could be Chelsea bound this summer, and that would be a really big blow for the Hammers.
Wahi is exactly what we need at the London Stadium.
He is a centre-forward by trade but can play out on either wing as well if need be.
Described by Transfermarkt as ‘incredible’, Wahi has absolutely everything needed to go on and become a huge star in the game.
The young forward possesses explosive pace and is an absolute nightmare for opposing defenders with his movement and ridiculously fast acceleration.
The problem West Ham face in the race to sign Elye Wahi is clear – Chelsea want him as well. With Mauricio Pochettino keen to bring the Montpellier striker to Stamford Bridge, Moyes definitely faces a tough battle if he is to sign the Frenchman.
Let’s hope that we can tempt Wahi to join us with the promise of more regular action than he would get at Chelsea. What a signing he would be for the Hammers. Chelsea’s reported interest in him is a big concern though, that’s for sure.
