The 22-year-old has been the Hammers best player over the past two-and-a-half seasons.

Rice has been incredible for David Moyes this term.

The England international has played a key role behind West Ham’s rise to the top five.

Against Arsenal yesterday, Rice arguably wasn’t at his very best. He still stood out, however, with his composure in possession, incredible energy and drive and commitment to the cause.

The 22-year-old, who earns around £55k-a-week according to Football League FC, wowed fans with a lung-busting run from deep inside his own half late on in the game.

The West Ham ace beat half of the Arsenal team before eventually having his shot saved by Bernd Leno.

West Ham fans will be absolutely gutted this morning that their team failed to get all three points against the Gunners yesterday.

Arsenal fans, meanwhile, will be buzzing that their side snatched a draw from the jaws of defeat.
