Alleged West Ham United target Mikkel Damsgaard was in sensational form for Denmark last night during their 8-0 win over Moldova in a World Cup Qualifier.

The Hammers are leading the race to sign the talented young Dane according to a report from La Repubblica.
The 20-year-old Sampdoria starlet is a left winger by trade but he can also operate in the central midfield and centre-forward positions.
And he is an absolutely breathtaking talent.
Damsgaard joined Sampdoria from Nordsjaelland in the summer of 2020 for around €6.7 million (£6 million) according to Sempre Inter.
The 20-year-old has racked up two goals and four assists in 26 Serie A games for Sampdoria thus far. That’s a fairly impressive return considering that he has played just 50 minutes per match on average (Transfermarkt).

Damsgaard played the full 90 minutes for Denmark during a World Cup Qualifier against Moldova last night.
And he showed exactly why West Ham are chasing his signature.
The talented attacker started the game on the left side of a front three for Denmark.
Damsgaard scored two goals and provided two assists for his teammates.
The Sampdoria ace is clearly a very special young talent.
And if David Moyes brings him to the London Stadium his summer, it would be a real coup for West Ham.
