An alleged West Ham managerial target could be out of a job by the morning after a reported Steve Cooper admission.
While David Moyes’ West Ham future beyond this season remains unclear it will always give rise to speculation.
But few would have seen on particular Hammers rumour coming last week when the club was linked with Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper.
West Ham were jeered off by a section of fans fed up with the performances from their side after the 1-1 draw with Palace at the weekend. That’s despite the Irons being five unbeaten.

Eyebrows were raised when under pressure Nottingham Forest boss Cooper was linked with West Ham last week.
According to talkSPORT, David Sullivan could consider Cooper as Moyes’ successor.
The obvious attraction would be Cooper’s proven track record with young players and his willingness to have someone above him calling the shots on transfers – as has been the case at Forest and would be at West Ham under Tim Steidten.
Well the alleged West Ham managerial target could be out of a job by the morning after a reported Cooper admission.

Earlier today Football Insider claimed Cooper had told friend he “expects the sack soon” after just one win in 10 games.
If that is the case then the alleged Hammers managerial candidate may well do well to survive the night.
That’s with Nottingham Forest having been batterd 5-0 by Fulham having failed to register a single shot on target as of the 70th minute and just one all night.
With an XG of 0.01 in the game, Forest were never at the races. To make matters worse Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis was in the crowd at Craven Cottage.
So the man said to be on West Ham’s list for a Moyes heir list could be getting his P45 by the morning.
And West Ham fans know only too well that not having to pay compensation for a manager will be a much more attractive proposition for the Hammers heirarchy.
