West Ham United are now said to be lining up a late swoop for Plymouth Argyle forward Morgan Whittaker.
Morgan Whittaker has been in sensational form for Plymouth in the Championship this season, and West Ham boss David Moyes could now try to prise him away from Home Park it seems.
According to Football Insider, Whittaker is attracting interest from West Ham late on in the January transfer window, with Fulham and Brentford said to be keen on signing him on deadline day as well.
The Hammers signing the 23-year-old attacker this late on in the window would be really out of the blue, given the lack of recent links with the Plymouth star.
That said, I would absolutely love Moyes to seal a surprise move late on deadline day for the former Swansea City winger…

The young attacker is drawing admiring glances from all over it seems, following his fabulous campaign for Plymouth.
Whittaker, a left footed attacker, is at his best when cutting in from the right hand side, although he can comfortably play anywhere along the front-line.
The 23-year-old has bagged a hugely impressive 16 goals and seven assists in 31 games for Plymouth so far this term (Transfermarkt).
He has pace and skill in abundance, possesses exceptional technical ability, is a great finisher and has a lethal delivery in his locker.
Signing Morgan Whittaker on transfer deadline day should be an absolute no-brainer for West Ham and David Moyes.
La Laziali recent claimed that the club from Devon could demand as much as £15-16 million for the 23-year-old.
Whether the Hammers owners will be prepared to pay anything like that kind of money for someone who is totally unproven in the Premier League is highly doubtful in my opinion. And missing out on him would be a real shame as far as I’m concerned.
