The double hard fan who became a West Ham legend overnight is now a real life action hero. Literally!
It has been a crazy and memorable week in the life of West Ham fans.
But for one Hammers supporter in particular it has been extremely eventful indeed.
When Pablo Fornals applied an unforgettable nutmeg and finish to that run from the halfway line – it sparked wild celebrations among everyone connected with West Ham.
But it also lit the blue touch paper for some moronic AZ Alkmaar fans who tried to attack the loved ones of West Ham players and staff in the main stand.

They didn’t bank on meeting West Ham man mountain Chris ‘Knollsy’ Knoll – pictured below – and others who kept the limp AZ attack at bay just as David Moyes’ team had on the pitch.
Knollsy has shot to fame since his brave resistance. He has been interviewed by all manner of media outlets and received a standing ovation at the London Stadium when he emerged on the terraces for the 3-1 win over Leeds at the weekend.
As humble as he is hard as nails, Chris told Mail Online he was no hero and paid tribute to other fans backing him up.
He has been dubbed ‘the Angel of Alkmaar’ for his actions which were immortalised in brilliant fashion by the West Ham-supporting artist Canning Town Len.
In showbiz and celebrity circles they say you know you’ve made it when they make a toy of you.
Well it seems West Ham terrace legend Knollsy has “made it”.
Because an action figure of West Ham’s Angel of Alkmaar Knollsy has been produced and is being sold in an online auction.
Yes you read that correctly.
An ebay member called briatippin_0 is selling a custom-made action figure of Knollsy on the site and bidding has – at the time of writing – already reached £100.
The online auction for the one-off toy runs until Thursday at 5.05pm.
The seller explained his ‘Knollsy custom figure’, saying: “I was inspired to make this custom made and handpainted figure with unique matching packaging.
“It took approx 28 hours to complete and will look great on display.
“It is a complete one off.”
