Adama Traore also makes his first start after joining from Fulham. Ezra Mayers is in too, following up his outing against QPR in round three, while Soungoutou Magassa is recalled and Callum Wilson leads the line.
Alphonse Areola replaces Mads Hermansen in goal as Konstantinos Mavropanos captains the side in Jarrod Bowen’s absence. And after Josh Ajala held talks with French and German clubs during the January transfer window, the young forward features on the bench with the Hammers hoping to keep him.
Teenage goalkeeper Fin Herrick is also among the substitutes.
