West Ham United supporters were full of praise for Jean-Clair Todibo upon his return to the starting lineup for their win over Fulham.
Todibo has not always convinced while clad in claret and blue and appeared to have lost his place in the starting lineup after getting sent off for violent conduct during West Ham United’s dramatic defeat to Chelsea in late January.

The arrival of Axel Disasi brought about a significant improvement in the backline, with the Frenchman partnering Konstantinos Mavropanos to great effect.
However, Mavropanos was dropped for Wednesday night’s game and Todibo played well for West Ham against Fulham.
Hammers News subscribers were certainly impressed.

Jean-Clair Todibo’s statistics for West Ham against Fulham
Todibo impressed as West Ham United beat Fulham 1-0 and his statistics make for promising reading.
Indeed, as per FotMob, the Frenchman won four of his six duels, made nine clearances, four ball recoveries and found the mark with 92% of the 38 passes he attempted.
In truth, Fulham did not create that much, but Todibo did what he needed to do well.

It will now be fascinating to see if Mavropanos can reclaim his starting berth. Disasi looks undroppable right now, so it would appear to be a straight shootout between Todibo and the Greek international for a place alongside him.
That was certainly a return to form from a player who has been criticised for much of his time here in east London.
