Graham Potter has named his West Ham United starting XI for the clash with Brentford this afternoon.
West Ham play host to Brentford in the Premier League at the London Stadium, and three points would be absolutely huge for us.
Graham Potter has made a big difference already since taking over as the new Hammers head coach, but now we need to start seeing some results to go along with the improved performances.
West Ham still have some really big players missing, but some key men are set to return to action as well.
Brentford will obviously represent a really stern challenge for the Hammers this afternoon.
Thomas Frank has his side extremely well-drilled, but he will be well aware of our threats as well.
Frank has already shared just how highly he rates Potter and our team in general.
So what team has Potter selected to take on the Bees?
West Ham starting XI vs Brentford confirmed
Potter will know full well how much a win would mean the confidence of his players.
Here’s how the Hammers will line up against Brentford this afternoon, as confirmed by the club’s official X account:

Alphonse Areola, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Max Kilman, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Emerson Palmieri, Edson Alvarez, Tomas Soucek, Lucas Paqueta, Carlos Soler, Mohammed Kudus, Jarrod Bowen
Mavropanos, Alvarez and Paqueta come back into the side to replace Vladimir Coufal, Aaron Cresswell and Andy Irving.
I want to see a high and intense press from the boys today.
Hopefully they start on the front foot, and put the visitors under pressure from the very first whistle.
We have the players out there to really hurt the Bees.
A victory is an absolute must today if you ask me.
The West Ham starting XI selected by Graham Potter to take on Brentford is more than good enough to get all three points.
I’m going for a 2-1 win for West Ham, COYI X
