West Ham went behind at the Hawthorns tonight having missed an early penalty kick.

The Hammers players showed some real character, however, and got themselves back in the game just before half-time.
West Ham teams of the past would have folded like a cheap suit.
This team managed by David Moyes is made of sterner stuff, however.
The Hammers took the lead with 10 minutes left after Angelo Ogbonna headed home from an Aaron Cresswell corner.
Michail Antonio made it three as the clock ticked down.
European football is now in our hands.
A point on the final day of the season would guarantee sixth place. We can even lose and still finish sixth.
As long as Tottenham don’t beat Leicester and Everton don’t win handsomely against Manchester City, we will be home and hosed, regardless of our result against the Saints.
West Ham player ratings
European football is exactly what the Hammers players deserve after their performances this season.
Here’s how we rated the West Ham players tonight:
Darren Randolph – 6
Shaky to start off but made some important saves as well.
Vladimir Coufal – 7
The Czech ace was his usual solid self, didn’t really put a foot wrong.
Craig Dawson – 7
Another top class display from Daws. A man mountain at the back yet again.
Angelo Ogbonna – 7
The Italian performed admirably at the back and got the all important second goal for us.
Aaron Cresswell – 7
Chalked up another assist and coped well with West Brom’s wide players.
Declan Rice – 6
One of Dec’s poorer games for the Hammers. Aside from missing a penalty, he just didn’t seem his usual self. He’s undoubtedly lacking match fitness, however.
Tomas Soucek – 7
It took big Tomas a while to get in the swing of the game but he found his feet after scoring the vital equaliser tonight.
Said Benrahma – 8 (MOTM)
Superb. Made us tick. Registered a vital assist. Inexplicably substituted by David Moyes, what more can you say?
Jesse Lingard – 5
Really poor tonight. He did assist Antonio for our final goal but aside from that he really wasn’t at the races.
Pablo Fornals – 5
The Spaniard put in a terrible performance. He had a shocker. He does work hard for the team though so it’s hard to criticise him too much.
Michail Antonio – 6
Poor from Michy tonight. His late goal glossed over his overall display. He will know that he wasn’t good enough tonight.
Jarrod Bowen – 6
Issa Diop – NA
Overall, West Ham didn’t play well at all tonight. We got the win though and that’s all that matters at this stage of the season!
On to Southampton.
