West Ham fans took to Twitter to praise Jamal Baptiste after his performance against Dundee in a pre-season friendly this afternoon at Dens Park.

The 17-year-old centre-back is probably the most highly-rated youngster at the London Stadium.
And when you watch him, it’s little wonder why.
Baptiste really impressed in his appearances for West Ham during pre-season last year.

He was then given the odd appearance in the Carabao Cup and once again looked right at home.
Incredibly exciting talent
The young centre-back looks even better now that he is a year older.
He came on as a second-half substitute against Dundee this afternoon at Dens Park.
Not only did he score the Hammers’ first-goal, but he put in a really calm and assured performance at the back as well.

The 17-year-old clearly seems to be a star in the making.
Perhaps David Moyes will give the teenager more chances to impress at the London Stadium during this upcoming season.
The 17-year-old certainly has the talent and possesses all of the physical attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League as well.
