West Ham fans blown away by the performance of Arthur Masuaku vs Sheffield United

Some West Ham fans praised Arthur Masuaku after his fine performance away at Sheffield United this afternoon.

The 27-year-old joined the Hammers from Olympiacos in the summer of 2016 for around £6.2 million (WHUFC.com).

The West Ham fans have had to wait until this season before seeing Masuaku at his best, however.

The Democratic Republic of Congo international has excelled in the left wing-back role since David Moyes switched to a 3-4-3 system.

The 27-year-old is even starting to become somewhat of a fan favourite at the London Stadium.

It really has been quite the turnaround in east London for Masuaku.

The former Olympiacos ace was on top form once again today against Sheffield United. He produced one bit of brilliance inside the first half, using his magic feet to great effect.

Masuaku offers us added impetus to our attacking play down the left hand side. The 27-year-old has been a player transformed this season. And David Moyes deserves great credit for finally getting the best out of the West Ham ace.
