Graham Potter has selected his starting XI for the Liverpool vs West Ham United clash this afternoon.
Liverpool have been in exceptional form in the Premier League this season, whilst the same cannot be said for West Ham unfortunately.
Graham Potter will be well aware that his players will be in for a tough afternoon at Anfield today.

The 49-year-old has improved the Hammers as a defensive outfit since he took over at the London Stadium.

However, our attacking play has left so much to be desired.
Some West Ham fans are already doubting his suitability to the job at the London Stadium, and his team selection today won’t do anything to quieten down his critics.
West Ham confirmed starting XI vs Liverpool
Potter has made some bizarre calls this afternoon with his lineup, as far as I’m concerned.
Here’s how the Hammers head coach has set his team up to face the Reds, as confirmed via the Hammers’ official X account:

Alphonse Areola, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Max Kilman, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Jean-Clair Todibo, Ollie Scarles, James Ward-Prowse, Carlos Soler, Lucas Paqueta, Mohammed Kudus, Jarrod Bowen
I have to say, that is a really poor starting XI.
Quite what Mavropanos is doing in the team is anyone’s guess. The same can be said for Carlos Soler, and why on earth isn’t Niclas Fullkrug starting?
That’s just a poor starting XI all round from Graham Potter, and he will be lucky if West Ham aren’t on the end of a severe beating today.
The West Ham players will be well aware that Liverpool will be keen to take a giant step towards lifting the Premier League title today by taking all three points.
It will be a tough one, that goes without saying.
Let’s just hope that the boys put in a good performance. COYI X
