All of that warrants fair discussion, though so do elements of the positive side of the coin. West Ham played well against Chelsea, with Crysencio Summerville impressing again by scoring in his fourth consecutive game.
Jarrod Bowen was another standout, as was the impressive Mateus Fernandes.

Following the culmination of the dramatic affair in west London, the website asked our users and subscribers for their Man of the Match.
Both Summerville and Bowen did pull in some of the vote, but it was Wan-Bissaka who stood out the most.
Indeed, the former Manchester United defender recorded two assists in the same game for the first time in his senior career and looked a constant menace going forward.
As such, he amassed 47.22% of the vote, with Summerville claiming 35.19%. Bowen got 14.35% and ‘other’ received 3.24%.

Pundit Gary Neville praised Wan-Bissaka during West Ham’s loss to Chelsea, largely because of his attacking prowess.
That was reflected in his couple of assists and it’s a reminder that he can offer something going forward.
Though generally always regarded as a fine defender, a perceived lack of attacking edge has always been a critique of his game.
Still, that was a fine performance from Wan-Bissaka, and it will be fascinating to see if he can build on this.
