Steve McManaman raved about West Ham United ace Michail Antonio, when speaking on BT Sport tonight (Friday, January 1st, 17:45).

The 30-year-old is so important to the way in which the Hammers play.

His absence has really been felt at the London Stadium.

Sebastien Haller has filled in for Michail Antonio but the Ivorian just doesn’t offer what the Englishman does.

The former Nottingham Forest ace was the main reason why West Ham avoided relegation last season.

And it is vital to our hopes of success this season that he remains fit between now and May.

Steve McManaman a huge Michail Antonio fan

BT Sport pundit Steve McManaman explained just how much West Ham have missed the 30-year-old, describing the powerful attacker as unplayable:

“They’ve really missed him. He played an important part at West Ham last season. At times he is unplayable with his strength.”

Michail Antonio came on in the 59th minute in place of Sebastien Haller against the Toffees. And he made an immediate difference for David Moyes’s side.

West Ham look so much more dynamic with Micky on the pitch. Sebastien Haller’s future looks bleak at the London Stadium. Meanwhile, the former Forest man continues to go from strength to strength.

Antonio delivers every single time. Wrap him up in cotton wool Moysie!
