The 25-year-old joined the Hammers on a season-long loan from the Bees in October for £4 million. The east London club have an obligation to buy the Algeria international for £25 million in the summer (Eurosport).
Much was expected of Benrahma after he swapped west London for east London.

The Algerian hasn’t quite hit the heights he is undoubtedly capable of yet, however.
He still needs a bit more time to settle but he has shown us glimpses of his incredible talent.
Said Benrahma superb for West Ham today
The 25-year-old was exceptional against Doncaster in the FA Cup this afternoon.
When speaking to reporters, Alan Irvine suggested that Benrahma needs a goal as soon as possible to help kickstart his Hammers career, as quoted by Football.London:

“Along with everyone else played very well. Would have been great to get a goal and the sooner the better. A goal would do his confidence good but he was good today along with everyone else.”
Irvine is right. A goal would do Benrahma the world of good. It will undoubtedly come. He just needs to remain patient.
Even without a goal yet, he has shown how much of a difference he can make for us.
And Benrahma’s rewards are surely just a round the corner.
