And some Hammers fans raved about the 25-year-old’s display.
Fornals, who earns around at £85k-a-week West Ham (Football League FC), made a slow start to life at the London Stadium after making his £25 million move from Villarreal in the summer of 2019 (The Telegraph).

The Spaniard has really shown what he is capable of over the past few months, however.
Fornals’ best position is actually the number 10 role but he often sacrifices the creative side of his game to put in a real shift on the left hand flank.
The former Villarreal ace has played a key role in West Ham’s incredibly successful campaign.
He has established himself as a really integral part of David Moyes’s team. The Spanish ace is undoubtedly now one of the first names on the Scot’s team-sheet.

The 25-year-old is an incredibly popular figure in East London.
We will hopefully now start to see the best of Pablo on a consistent basis over the next few seasons.
The Spaniard was superb against the Saints this afternoon. He put in his usual 100 per cent effort and commitment for the entirety of the match.
The 25-year-old scored a couple of superbly taken goals as well. He deserves all the plaudits he gets.
