West Ham tasted defeat for the first time since before the international break on Friday night.
Brighton and Hove Albion claimed their third win over West Ham in the last three meetings between the two sides.
At the AMEX Stadium on Friday night, West Ham fell to a disappointing 1-0 loss.
Glenn Murray was the man to get on the score sheet, adding yet another goal against the Hammers to his tally.
And West Ham fans were very critical of Arthur Masuaku for his failure to prevent the goal.

The Frenchman seemed to lose his marker, allowing Murray to tap in unchallenged from close range.
This is not the first time Masuaku’s defensive contributions have been called into question.
There is an ongoing debate about whether he should start or be replaced by Aaron Cresswell.
Here are what West Ham fans were saying about Masuaku’s performance on Friday.
Yeah I think that’s spot on! I’d keep Cresswell as a back up & let Masuaku go as I think he’s brainless… but all the rest Id out, 100%

A 38 year old right back and Masuaku decides he doesn’t want to attack this game, plus was at fault for the goal

Masuaku can’t defend as we’ve seen ,last night another classic example. He even seems to have lost that ability to go past people.

Masuaku – diabolical. Antonio – not even League 2 standard. Both need replacing

No queries with Masuaku going forward generally, but defensively I feel he’s a liability. I’ve not seen the highlights but heard he was at fault for the goal, can’t help but think Cresswell is better defensively

I would give Cresswell a game.
