The 26-year-old has really struggled since joining the Hammers for £45 million 18 months ago.
Sebastien Haller lit up the London Stadium with a wonder strike last night, however.

The Ivory Coast international displayed incredible technique, as he has done on numerous occasions for West Ham.
His talent is undeniable. The 26-year-old really has to do more than just score the odd acrobatic wonder-goal, however. He needs to make more of a nuisance of himself and use his huge frame to his advantage.
And Harry Redknapp alluded to that fact last night.
The former West Ham boss suggested that the east London outfit are really missing Michail Antonio, when speaking on Amazon Prime (Wednesday December 16th, 21:02):

“Haller has got to get more involved, He’s a little bit static. They really miss Antonio.”
In fairness to Redknapp, he did make those comments before Sebastien Haller scored his worldie.
But in principle, he is spot on.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt hitman has a lot of work to do if he is to convince the majority of West Ham fans that he has what it takes to succeed at the London Stadium.
Last night’s goal will certainly help him do just that, however.
