Gary Neville fired a warning to West Ham United regarding their chances of signing Jesse Lingard permanently from Manchester United in the summer, when speaking on Sky Sports Monday Night Football last night (April 5th, 8:10pm).

The 28-year-old joined the Hammers on loan from Man United in January.
And Lingard has already made a huge impact at the London Stadium.
Jesse has racked up six goals and three assists in just eight games for West Ham so far.
David Moyes deserves huge credit for having the foresight to bring Lingard to the London Stadium.
The England international has always had a lot of talent but he hardly played during the previous 12 months before joining the Hammers.
Gary Neville fires Jesse Lingard warning to West Ham
David Moyes will surely be desperate to sign the 28-year-old permanently in the summer.
Neville suggested the Hammers may well not have things all their own way, however:
“I’m not surprised that he has gone to West Ham and done well. And I think there will be other clubs at the end of the season looking at Jesse Lingard other than West Ham thinking that he’ll be a good player to sign.”
Neville is right. One huge factor in our favour, however, is that Lingard is clearly loving life at the London Stadium.
If West Ham manage to qualify for Europe this season, surely we will be in the driving seat to sign Lingard.
He may well need assurances that the Hammers owners are prepared to match his ambition.
If West Ham are to make real progress as a football club, we need to sign Jesse Lingard at all costs. Whatever it takes, we just need to make it happen!
