Gary Neville absolutely raved about West Ham ace Said Benrahma during our clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford today.

The 27-year-old has been in and out of the team under David Moyes so far this season.

The fact that he isn’t a regular starter really is quite bemusing. Even West Ham new-boy Emerson said that Benrahma is the best player during training.

And he certainly made a difference for the Hammers against Man United today.

And Neville raved about Benrahma after his exceptional piece of skill midway through the first-half, when speaking on Sky Sports today (Sunday October 30th, 4:32pm):

It’s absolutely brilliant from Benrahma, it really was. Look at that. That’s just brilliant skill at speed, with players in and around him.

Said is clearly not one of Moyes’s favourites, and I don’t really know why.

I would still love to see the 27-year-old be more clinical when it matters, but that will come with more confidence – something that he just doesn’t seem to get from Moyes.

Said Benrahma is clearly very popular amongst the West Ham fans, and Gary Neville proved that those outside the London Stadium appreciate his skill as well.

It’s just a shame that Hammers boss David Moyes doesn’t seem to respect what Benny brings to this team as well.
