Tottenham dominated possession as the first-half wore on and looked a real threat.

West Ham held out, however, and took the 1-0 lead into the break.

Jose Mourinho brought Gareth Bale and Matt Doherty on for the second-half, but it was West Ham who came out stronger once again.

David Moyes was delighted when Jesse Lingard put the Hammers 2-0 up early on in the second-half with a superbly taken goal.

Tottenham hit straight back, however. Lucas Moura made it 2-1, heading home from a Gareth Bale corner with just under half an hour still to play.

The game was largely dominated by Spurs in final 20 minutes or so, with the Hammers sitting back and soaking up the pressure.

West Ham defended resolutely and David Moyes deserves huge credit for the manner in which he has transformed this Hammers side.
