The Hammers earned a magnificent 2-1 victory over the Whites, having trailed early on in the game.
West Ham were by the far the better team at Elland Road. And we should have won more comfortably in the end.

A win is a win though, and we will take that however it comes about.
Aside from Sebastien Haller and Pablo Fornals, every West Ham player put in a real shift. It really was a joy to watch the boys in action last night.
Forgetting about our profligacy in front of goal for a minute, we are starting to look like a complete team.
David Moyes praised Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek after last night’s game. The Scot raved about the Hammers duo’s consistency, as quoted by Football.London:

“Him (Soucek) and Declan have been so good, their effort, their commitment, every game we have a high standard of steady and consistent performance from them. We knew he had goals in him, Tomas, we knew when we bought him and thankfully he is getting a few for us.”
David Moyes is spot on.
Rice and Soucek are absolutely vital to West Ham.
We all knew how good Rice was, but Soucek has been something else since arriving from Slavia Prague in January.
The Czech Republic international has scored six goals in 25 games for the Hammers. The 25-year-old already has three to his name this season and he is undoubtedly one of the best signings we have made over the past decade.
If West Ham are to finish inside the top six or seven this season, we needs Rice and Soucek to continue their fine form. And there shouldn’t be any reason why they can’t do exactly that.
