West Ham boss David Moyes spoke to reporters after last night’s draw with Crystal Palace and said that Jarrod Bowen twisted his ankle in the pre-game warm-up, as quoted by Football.London.

The 23-year-old was nowhere near his best last night.
Jarrod Bowen worked hard, but he just didn’t have the quality in the final third.
The former Hull City ace just looked off last night.

Ever since arriving at the London Stadium from Hull for £22 million in January (The Guardian), Bowen has been a real hit.
The 23-year-old has racked up four goals and two assists in 13 Premier League games this season (Transfermarkt).
He is undoubtedly one of the best players David Moyes has at his disposal at the London Stadium.
Jarrod Bowen was fairly ineffective last night against Palace, however. The 23-year-old worked hard but he didn’t really influence the game in the final third.
And Moyes offered up a potential reason as to why, as quoted by Football.London:

“We picked up small injuries in training. Even tonight, Aaron Cresswell had one and Jarrod Bowen twisted his ankle in the warm up.”
Hopefully it’s just a minor knock and Jarrod Bowen is back fully fit and firing for Monday’s clash with Chelsea.
The 23-year-old is a tireless worker and has added real quality to our attacking play down the right hand flank.
Jarrod Bowen will be pivotal to West Ham’s hopes of a top six finish this season. And the Hammers need him back to his best as soon as possible.
