West Ham United begin their FA Cup campaign at home to QPR on Sunday afternoon.

On paper, West Ham vs QPR offers Nuno Espirito Santo a favourable chance of securing FA Cup progress.

While little about this Hammers side fully convinces right now, they do look like slight favourites on paper.

QPR, after all, are midtable in the Championship. Though they have nothing to lose, they are hardly a team to be feared before a ball is kicked.

Imagine you are Nuno – How are YOU approaching the FA Cup? 🏆

Rest players for the league? Or go all-out for cup glory?

Lucas Paqueta of West Ham United celebrates scoring his team's first goal during the Emirates FA Cup Third Round match between Aston Villa and West Ham United at Villa Park on January 10, 2025 in Birmingham, England.

They could be famous last words of course, but the point is that West Ham should be confident of making the fourth round of the world’s oldest cup competition for the first time since 2023.

With that in mind, here’s how to watch the game if you are not attending the London Stadium.

West Ham vs QPR will be shown on TNT Sports

The bulk of this season’s FA Cup games have moved behind a paywall.

Rather than being shown on the traditional free-to-air channels in the UK, West Ham vs QPR will be broadcast on TNT Sports 5. Kick-off is at 2.30pm GMT on Sunday, 11 January, 2026.

The last West Ham team to beat QPR all the way back in 2014…

If you could put ONE of these players into Nuno's current team, who would it be and why?

West Ham should take heart from QPR’s terrible FA Cup record

No team in English football have lost more FA Cup third round games than QPR since the current format came into place in the 1925-26 campaign.

They have been eliminated at this stage 52 times and have not beaten a top-flight side while they’ve been a Football League team in 12 attempts.

The omens are promising for West Ham, even if fans could be forgiven for not approaching it with a huge amount of confidence.

Thousands of QPR fans are expected to attend the West Ham game but if their record in the competition is anything to go by, they may well be leaving it disappointed.
